Lisa Stilborn joined TSA in 1999, and manages TSA's public affairs practice which offers strategic counsel on federal, provincial and municipal issues.
Lisa’s senior public affairs expertise is the result of over twenty years working in both the private and public sectors. She is an experienced leader in multi-disciplinary approaches that combine government relations advocacy with other issue management techniques such as coalition building, stakeholder relations and media relations to leverage these activities and achieve client goals.
Lisa specializes in working with companies in the financial services, manufacturing, broadcasting and telecommunications, and health sectors. Applying her knowledge of all facets of government operations, as well as the external drivers that influence decision-making, she works with clients to deliver results in areas such as legislation, regulation, taxation and government funding. Lisa also has an extensive background on energy and environment policy, having worked with all three levels of Government on a range of projects and has served as a member of the board of Hydro Ottawa Limited.
An acknowledged leader in her field, Lisa frequently conducts seminars for associations and companies on government relations best practices.
An experienced political organizer, Lisa has served as Eastern Region Chair in Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty’s last two provincial election campaigns. She is also a frequent media commentator on political issues. An active community volunteer, Lisa is the immediate past Chair of Bruyère Continuing Care, an Ottawa hospital.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto (Trinity College).
