More than the Law Requires, Now Required by Law

It isn't often that the Supreme Court of Canada issues an edict that will have a profound impact on the operations of an industrial facility. On November 28, 2008, the Supreme Court released its decision in the case of St. Lawrence Cement Inc. v. Barrette. As a result of the decision, CCPA members (and industry in general) will have to go out into the community and respond to the reasonable concerns of their neighbours to avoid litigation.
